William S. "Red" Duvall

Funeal service will be held Monday for 88-year-old William S. "Red" Duvall of Perryville who died today (Friday) at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born on April 29, 1911 in St. Louis, the son of the late William Lewis and Matilda (DeRoc) Duvall.

He was married to Irene A. Heinbokel. She survives in Perryville.

One sister and two brothers survive: Marie Fassold of St. Louis; Joe Duvall of West Frankfort, IL; and Robert Duvall of Fenton, Mo.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sally Duvall, one sister, Lucille Brown, and one brother, Wilmer Duvall.

He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno, Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree Council 1263 and American Legion Booster Post 133.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4-9 p.m. and Monday from 6:30-9:20 a.m. at Young and Sons Funeral Home. Parish wake Sunday at 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass for William S. "Red" Duvall will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno. Rev. Francis Agnew C.M. officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Chester, Ill.

Memorial preference is to Our Lady of Victory Building Fund.
