Elmer "Sonny" Best A funeral service was held Monday, April 26, 1999 for 69-year-old Elmer "Sonny" Best of Uniontown who died Friday. He was born October 29, 1929 in Uniontown, the son of Theodore and Emma (Pruesser) Best, who both preceded in death. He is survived by his step-mother, Erica Schuessler, of Perryville. He married Aleen Engert on April 30, 1950. She survives in Uniontown. He is also survived by three sons: Rickey and Ronny, both of Uniontown; and Donny of Perryville. He is also survived by six grandchildren. He was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna, a U.S. Air Force veteran and member of the American Legion. A funeral service for 69-year-old Elmer "Sonny" Best of Uniontown was held today at the Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Rev. Wayne Palmer, officiated. |
