Lester "Perry" Berkbigler

A funeral service will be held Saturday for 53-year-old Lester "Perry" Berkbigler of Friedheim who died Thursday, April 8.

He was born June 5th, 1945 in Cape Girardeau County, the son of Lester Berkbigler and Artie (Wills) Berkbigler who both preceded in death.

He married Elizabeth "Betty" Baer on May 2nd, 1965. She preceded in death.

He is survived by two sons: Perry J. Berkbigler and Christopher M. Berkbigler, both of Perryville.

Three daughters also survive: Pamela S. Massey and Patricia Massey, both of Chico, Texas and Tina M. Krauss of Perryville.

He is also survived by two sisters: Jeanne Seiler and Janet Kester, both of Friedheim.

He was a laborer.

He was a member of the St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle.

Visitation from 4-9 p.m. Friday at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish wake service at 4 p.m. Rosary at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Visitation also from 6:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday.

A funeral mass for Lester "Perry" Berkbigler will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at the St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle. Burial in the church cemetery. The Reverend Mark Bozada will officiate. Memorials may be made to family choice.
