Robert E. Hornbeak

A funeral service will be held Saturday for 59-year-old Robert E. Hornbeak of Perryville who died Thursday, April 8th.

He was born December 5th, 1939 in Pamona, Illinois, the son of Joseph and Frances (Lipe) Hornbeak. His mother survives in Cairo, Illinois.

He married Barbara Mills on May 26, 1990. She survives in Perryville.

Four sons also survive: Stephen Hornbeak of Nashville, Tennessee; Michael Hornbeak of Jackson; and Jim Brown and David Brown, both of St. Louis.

He is also survived by one daughter: Elizabeth Guemmer of Perryville.

Two brothers also survive: Jim Hornbeak of the state of Louisiana and Jim Hornbeak of Cairo, Illinois.

He is also survived by two granddaughters and three grandsons.

He participated in Khoury League baseball and was a Mason in Southern Illinois.

Visitation Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A memorial service for Robert E. Hornbeak of Perryville will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. Rob Mills will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
