A funeral was scheduled to be held today, August 16,1999 for 71-year-old Robert Guemmer of Perryville who died Saturday, August 14th in Perryville.

He was born February 29th, 1928 in Friedenburg, the son of Theodore and Rose (Hacker) Gummer, who both preceded in death.

He married Viola M. Koenig on December 18th, 1948. She survives in Perryville.

Three sons also survive him: Gerald R. Guemmer of Perryville, Donald G. Guemmer of Dallas, Tex. and Timothy J. Guemmer of Perryville.

Two daughters also survive him: Debra K. Masiel of Perryville and Connie J. Lausen of Galveston, Tex.

One sister also survives: Lillian Royer of St. Louis.

Four grandchildren and one step-grandchild also survive him.

Three brothers, two sisters and one foster brother also preceded him in death.

He was a carpenter and member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.

A funeral service for 71-year-old Robert M. Guemmer of Perryville was scheduled to be held at 10 a.m. today, Monday, August 16, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Rev. Craig Otto, officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Immanuel radio broadcast or to Southeast Hospice.
