Raymond H. Goodman

A funeral was scheduled to be held today, Monday, August 9, 1999 for 58-year-old Raymond H. Goodman of Perryville who died Saturday, August 7th, at his home.

He was born June 13th, 1941 in Pocahontas, Ark., the son of Herman and Eathel (Hawkins) Goodman who both preceded in death.

He married Judith Woodard on December 30th, 1986. She survives in Perryville.

Two sons also survive him: Brian Goodman of Wildwood and Brad Goodman of Jackson.

One daughter survives: Tia Brown of Nevada, Iowa.

He is also survived by four sisters: Helen Stallcup of Conway, Ark., Alous Rose of Pocahontas, Ark., Ivern O'Neil of Bragg City; and Estelle Reiser of Miami, Flor.

Two brothers survive: Howard Goodman of Paragould, Ark., and Gene Goodman of Portageville, Ark.

Three grandchildren also survive.

He was also preceded in death by a sister.

He was a retired boilermaker and a member of Union Local No. 363.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church and an Air Force Veteran.

Visitation was held Sunday and this, Monday, morning at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville.

A funeral for 58-year-old Raymond H. Gordon of Perryville will be held at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Perryville. Burial was scheduled to be held in the American Legion Cemetery in Dongola, Illinois. The Rev. Jonathon Brown, officiating.

Memorials are preferred to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
