Zita JoAnn Fassold

Funeral service will be held Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999 for 91-year-old Zita JoAnn Fassold of Perryville who died Dec. 28 at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born on Oct. 19, 1908 in Perry County, the daughter of the late Henry and Katharina Sophia (Ermer) Weibrecht.

She was married to Herbert Fassold on April 6, 1931. He preceded her in death.

Two children survive; Raymond Fassold of St. Louis and Katherine Baker of Perryville.

One brother, Harry Weibrecht, survives in Perryville.

Five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.

Two brothers, four sisters, two infant brothers and two infant sisters preceded her in death.

She was a member of Immaneul Lutheran Church and former member of Peace Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid in Friedenburg.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and Friday from 6:30-10 a.m. at Young and Sons Chapel.

Funeral service will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Young and Sons Chapel. Rev. Craig Otto will officiate. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Friedenburg.

Memorial preference is to Immanuel Lutheran Radio Broadcast or Department Fund.
