Warren Raymond "Cotton" Boyer A funeral will be held Tuesday, July 23, 1999 for 83-year-old Warren Raymond "Cotton" Boyer who died today (Saturday, July 17) at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. He was born September 21, 1915 in Dexter, the son of Prosper Boyer and Mary Grifford Boyer who preceded in death. He married Elizabeth Besacon on July 21st, 1967 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She preceded in death. A son, Warren Lee Boyer of Oklahoma City, Okla, survives him. Three daughters also survive him: Judy Ling of Shawnee, Okla.; Joyce Phillips of Fredericktown; and Janet King of Perryville. Two stepsons survive: Richard Duvall of Perryville and Carl Duvall of Sulphur Springs, Tex. One stepdaughter survives: Patricia Blessing of Perryville. 25 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren also survive him. Two brothers also preceded him in death. He had been a laborer for 30 years for the Frisco Railroad. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Monday and 6:30-11 a.m. Tuesday at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A funeral for 83-year-old Warren Raymond "Cotton" Boyer will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Home Cemetery. The Rev. Ed Hankinson will officiate. |
