LaVerne C. "Tootie" Endres

A funeral will be held Wednesday, July 21, 1999 for 78-year-old LaVerne C. "Tootie" Endres, formerly of Perryville, who died Sunday, July 18 at Doctor's Hospital in Columbus, Ga.

She was born March 29th, 1921 in St. Louis, the daughter of Benjamin Cissel and Rose M. (Hoffman) Cissell who both preceded in death.

She married James H. Endres on June 22, 1940 in Perryville. He preceded in death.

One daughter and son-in-law, Patti A. and Thomas W. Lowder of Columbus, Ga. and one sister, Helen Hayden of Perryville, survive her.

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

One sister also preceded her in death.

She owned and operated the Mini Mart in Perryville before retiring.

She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and Ladies of Charity.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Miller Family Funeral Home. A parish wake will be held at 7 p.m.

A funeral for 78-year-old LaVerne C. "Tootie" Endres, formerly of Perryville, will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. She will be buried in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Fausz, C.M. will officiate.
