Herbert L. Kiefer

A funeral will be held Saturday, July 24, 1999 for 74-year-old Herbert L. Kiefer who died Tuesday at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born April 24th, 1925 in Perryville, the son of Carl J. Kiefer and Sadie M. (Phillips) Kiefer who preceded in death.

Four sons survive him: Bruce Kiefer and Eric Kiefer, both of Wilson, North Carolina; Gregory Kiefer of the state of New York and Mark Kiefer of Raleigh, North Carolina.

One daughter also survives: Sheila Saunders of Wilson, North Carolina.

One sister-in-law survives: Ruby Kiefer of Perryville.

One brother-in-law also survives: Alfred Steinbrenner of Lombard, Illinois.

Numerous nieces and nephews also survive him.

Two sons, a sister and a brother also preceded him in death.

He was a welder for Budd Industries and a veteran of World War II.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 6:30-9:50 a.m. Saturday at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish wake will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

A funeral mass for 74-year-old Herbert L. Kiefer will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Richard Lause, C.M. will officiate.
