Linda L. Dunker

A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 3, 1999 for 52-year-old Linda L. Dunker of Sedgewickville who died Monday, May 31st at her residence.

She was born July 31st, 1946 in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Roy E. Weiss Sr. and Vera (Deimund) Weiss. Both preceded in death.

She married David W. Dunker on May 18th, 1974. He survives in Sedgewickville.

She is also survived by two brothers: Roy "Junior" Weiss Jr. of New Orleans, La. and Ronnie Weiss of Fort Worth, Tex. and by one sister: Carol Haberman of Steelville, Ill.

She was a proof reader for the Mid America Farm Grower newspaper in Perryville, an aide to State Representative Herb Fallert and the first woman alderman in the city of Perryville.

She was a member of the Whitewater Presbyterian Church in Sedgewickville, Perryville Democratic Party and Professional Business Women.

Visitation from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30-9 a.m. Thursday at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral service for 52-year-old Linda L. Dunker of Sedgewickville will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Whitewater Presbyterian Church in Sedgewickville. Burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Jesse Perry will officiate.

Memorials are preferred to the Sedgewickville Fire Department.
