Erna A. Hoehn A funeral service will be held Monday, June 7th, 1999 for 83-year-old Erna A. Hoehn of Perryville who died Thursday, June 3rd at Perry County Nursing Home. She was born January 31st, 1916 in Uniontown, the daughter of Paul Benjamin and Anna Clara (Bock) Hopfer who both preceded in death. She married Walter A. Hoehn on April 12th, 1936. He survives in Perryville. She is also survived two sons and daughters in law: LeRoy Walter and Arlene Hoehn and Calvin Paul and Joan Hoehn, both of Perryville. One daughter and son-in-law also survives: Dorothy LaVerne and Gene Schuessler of Cape Girardeau. She is also survived by one brother: Alfreid "Jody " Hopfer of Overland and a sister: Anita Lohmann of Farrar. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters and two great grandsons. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown, Ladies Aid, Lutheran Women's Missionary League and was the correspondent for 45 years for Menfro news in the Republic Monitor newspaper. Visitation Sunday from 4-9 p.m. and Monday from 6:30-8 a.m. at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A funeral service for 83-year-old Erna A. Hoehn of Perryville will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown. Burial in the Point Rest Cemetery in Menfro. The Rev. Louis Theiss will officiate. Memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church. |
