Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 16, 1999, for 60-year-old Gladys E. Meyer of Perryville who died Sunday at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born on may 12, 1938 in Biehle, Mo., the daughter of the late Steven and Theresa (Lee) Laurentius.

She was married to James Roger Meyer. He survives in Perryville.

Children surviving are Randy Lee Meyer or Oak Ridge, Mo. And Connie Lynn Vernon of Shakertown, Mo.

Brothers and sisters surviving are: James Laurentius of Perryville; LeRoy Laurentius of Cape Girardeau; Elmer Laurentius of Cape Girardeau; Leona Propst of Bridgeton; and Betty Jones of Jackson.

Three grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be March 15, 1999 from 4-9 p.m. and Tuesday, March 16 from 6:30-9:15 a.m. Catholic wake service Monday at 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass for Gladys E. Meyer will be held Tuesday, March 16 at 10 a.m. at St. Maurus Catholic Church. Burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Mark Bozada, C.M. officiating.

Memorials are preferred to Masses.
