Bertha S. Horneker Memorial service will be held Sunday, March 21, 1999 for 89-year-old Bertha S. Horneker of Perryville, who died Sunday at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born on Nov. 26, 1909 in Pacific, Mo., the daughter of the late Robert and Anna (Bruns) Schuchart. She was married to Edward M. Horneker. He preceded her in death. Three sons survive: Robert F. Hornecker of Troy, Ill.; George F. Horneker of Jonesboro, Ark.; and Ralph W. Hornecker of Perryville. One sister, Florence Highsmith, survives in Lubbock, Tex. Six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Perryville and past matron of Eastern Star. A memorial service for Bertha S. Hornecker will be held Sunday, March 21, 1999 at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church. Memorial preference is to the First Presbyterian Church Youth Fund. Young and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
