Melvin Paul Mangels

Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 18, 1999 for 84-year-old Melvin Paul Mangels of Perryville who died Monday, March 15 at PerryOaks Healthcare Center.

He was born on May 21, 1914 in Perry County, the son of the late Paul and Emilie (Mueller) Mangels.

He was married to Goldie V. Reiss. She survives in Perryville.

One son and daughter-in-law, Dennis Paul and Donna Mangels, survive in Washington, Mo.; and one daughter, Charlotte Satter, survives in Pocahontas, Mo.

Two sisters survive: Gladys Valleroy of Perryville and Hattie Wunderlich of Ellisville, Mo.

Five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church-Perryville and United Auto Workers Union Local 125 of Bridgeton, Mo.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4-9 p.m. and Thursday from 6:30-10 a.m. at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Melvin Paul Mangels will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Young and Sons Chapel. Rev. Donald Loesch officiating. Burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorial preference is to Immanuel Lutheran School.
