Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 18, 1999 for 80-year-old Olitha C. Berkbigler of Perryville who died Tuesday, March 16 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born on July 28, 1918 in Perry County, the daughter of the late Adolph and Regina (Cissell) Pingel.

She was married to Henry Berkbigler. He preceded her in death.

The following children survive:
Ruby Ruch of Oak Ridge
Doris Richardet of Perryville
Clyde Berkgibler of Perryville
Hazel Besand of Perryville

Two sisters survive: Mathilda Queathem of St. Charles and Merle Cissell of Perryville.

Thirteen grandchildren also survive.

Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish.

Visitation will be held today (Wednesday) from 6-9 p.m. and Thursday from 6:30-10:45 a.m. at Young and Sons Funeral Home. Parish wake service at 7 p.m. tonight (Wednesday).

Funeral Mass for Olitha C. Berkbigler will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Highland, Mo.
