Ruby V. Favier Funeral service will be held Saturday for 87-year-old Ruby V. Favier of Perryville who died Thursday, March 25, 1999 at PerryOaks Healthcare Center. She was born on June 19, 1912, in Allenville, Mo., the daughter of the late Arthur and Clola (Ramsey) Idell Smith. She was married to Orval J. Favier on July 25, 1931. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1993. The following children survive: Betty Hunt of Jackson, Mo. Robert Favier of St. Louis Judith Hopfer of Perryville James Favier of Perryville Steve "Puggy" Favier of Perryville and Susan Favier of Perryville Brothers and sisters surviving are: Viola Gieser of Cape Girardeau Alma Hoffstetter of Perryville Vernon Smith of Cape Girardeau and Charles Smith of Perryville Fifteen grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Geraldine. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic church and the Daughters of Isabella. Visitation will be Friday, March 26, 1999 at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 6:30-9:40 a.m. Catholic wake service at 7 p.m. Friday. Funeral Mass for Ruby V. Favier will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorial preference is to Southeast Hospice. |
