George Hoehne A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 18th, 1999 for 94-year-old George Hoehne of Frohna, who died Sunday at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born January 8th, 1905 in Altenburg, the son of Joseph and Johanna (Ahner) Hoehne, who both preceded in death. He married Natalie Fiehler on August 15th, 1926. She survives in Frohna. He is also survived by four daughters: Vera Sandler of Perryville, Lillian Kasten of Uniontown, Gloria Brothers of Frohna and Ruth Frye of St. Louis. Two sons also survive: George Hoehne Jr. of Tucson, Ariz. and Ralph Hoehne of Uniontown. He is also survived by three sisters: Cordia Kieback of St. James, Martha Schuessler of Cape Girardeau and Frieda Newberry of St. Louis. Two brothers also survive: Leonard Hoehne of Brazeau and Curt Hoehne of Jackson. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by three sons, one sister, one brother and four grandchildren. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Concordia Men's Club and Senior Citizen's Club, all in Frohna. Visitation this (Monday) afternoon and evening from 5-9 and Tuesday from 6:30-8:30 a.m. at the Young and Sons East Perry Chapel. A funeral service for 94-year-old George Hoehne of Frohna will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna. Burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Wayne Palmer, officiating. Memorials are preferred to the Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna. |
