Eldor E. Koenig

Funeal service will be held Thursday, May 6, 1999, for 86-year-old Eldor E. Koenig of Frohna, who died Tuesday, May 4, 1999 at Chester Memorial Hospital.

He was born on Aug. 29, 1912 in Farrar, Mo., the son of the late Joseph and Martha (Detjen) Koenig.

He was married to Arline Petzoldt. She survives in Frohna.

Two children survive: Korlyn L. Degenhardt of St. Louis and Dale Koenig of Perryville.

Five grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by one brother, martin.

He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna, East Perry Fair board and was involved with the Soil and Water Conservation department.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:30-9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 6:30-12:30 at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Eldor E. Koenig will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna. Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.

Memorial preference is to the Mission Budget at Concordia Lutheran Church or American Cancer Society.
