Woodrow "Woody" Knox

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 15, 1999 for 84 year - old Woodrow "Woody" Knox of Perryville, who died Thursday.

Born on September 18, 1914 in Oak Ridge, the son of Bert and Clara Bell (Tacke) Knox, who both preceded in death.

He is survived by 2 sisters; Kathryne Conrad of Sikeston, and Imogene Hermeyer of Memphis.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Mr. Knox was a lifetime member of York Chapel Methodist Church near Longtown, a member of the Disabled American Veterans Post #45 in Perryville, a US Army Veteran of World War II,  past member of American Legion Post 133 and an antique car collector.

Visitation will be on Friday from 5 - 8pm, and on Saturday from 6:30 am till the time of the service, at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. Funeral services for Woodrow "Woody" Knox will be on Saturday at 1pm at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville. Rev. Thomas Bass officiating. Burial will be in the Brazeau Presbyterian Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the York Chapel Methodist Church.
