Gustave "Gus" A. Hoffstetter

A funeral will be held Tuesday, November 16th, 1999 for 85-year-old Gustave "Gus" A. Hoffstetter of Perryville who died Sunday at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born October 14th, 1914 in Perryville, the son of Theodore and Catherina (Ochs) Hoffstetter who both preceded in death.

He married Alma A. Smith on April 30th, 1938. She survives in Perryville.

He is also survived by three sisters in law, nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.

He was retired from Gilster Mary Lee and was a lifetime member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville and the Perry County Sportsman Club.

Visitation will be from 4-9 this (Monday) afternoon and evening and from 6:30-9 a.m. Tuesday at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 85-year-old Gustave "Gus" A. Hoffstetter of Perryville will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. Burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Craig Otto will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Radio Broadcast Fund, to Immanuel Lutheran School or to Southeast Hospice.
