George F. McDowell

A funeral will be held Tuesday, November 2, 1999 for 76-year-old George F. McDowell, formerly of Perryville, who died Saturday at the Beverly Heathcare Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born May 23, 1923 in Perryville.

He married Mary O. Norman on March 16th, 1986 in Jefferson City. She survives in Cape Girardeau.

One brother also survives him: Gene McDowell of St. Louis.

His parents and two brothers preceded him in death.

He had been a chef at St. John's Mercy Hospital until his retirement.

Visitation will be from 8-9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 2nd at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Burial will be in the Home Cemetery.

The Rev. Jim Vinson will officiate.
