Funeral service was held Monday, Oct. 11, 1999 for 88-year-old Lenn C. Miget of Perryville who died at his residence Oct. 9, 1999.

He was born on april 23, 1911 in Perry County, the sonof the late Louis A. Miget and Mary Huber Miget.

He was married to Anna Marie Henderson on Sept. 16, 1935. She preceded him in death on July 25, 1996.

Children surviving are: Gilbert L. Miget of Hillsboro; Richard A. Miget of Biehle; Ray E. Miget of Perryville; Kenneth C. Miget of Highland; and Janet A. Hager of Troy, Mo.

The following brothers and sisters survive: Stephen Miget and Weldon Miget, both of Pekin, Ill.; Elta Berkbigler, Mable Berkbigler and Eula Smith, all of Perryville; and Pat Kirn and Zella Green, both of DeSoto, Mo.

Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

Mr. Miget had been a cutter at International Shoe company until his retirement. He was a member of St. vincent de Paul parish, 3rd degree Knights of Columbus; American Legion Booster; Member of the Perry Promenaders Square Dance Club; and a charter member of Jefferson County Square Dancing Club.

Funeral service was held Monday, Oct. 11, 1999 at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Kevin P. Fausz, C.M. officiated. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Schools.

Miller Family Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
