Wilhelmina "Minnie" C. Berkbuegler A funeral will be held Friday, October 15th, 1999 for 89-year-old Wilhelmina "Minnie" C. Berkbuegler of Perryville who died today, Tuesday, October 12th, at the Perry County Nursing Home. She was born September 16th, 1910 in Bollinger County, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Radin) Laurentius who both preceded in death. She married Erwin Berkbuegler on September 17th, 1935. He preceded in death. Two sons survive her: Chalmer Berkbuegler of Perryville and Arley Berkbuegler of Friedheim. She is also survived by five daughters: Norma Lauck of Apple Creek, Margie Miget of Biehle, Beulah Schweigert of Ste. Genevieve, Betty Thompson of Biehle, and JoAnn Buchheit of Wentzville. One daughter-in-law also survives her: Anna Marie Berkbuegler of Perryville. One brother survives: Henry Laurentius of St. Ann. 27 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren also survive her. A son, a daughter, two sisters and four brothers also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and quilter and a member of the St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle and the St. Ann Sodality. Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Thursday and Friday from 6:30-9:15 a.m. at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. Parish wake Thursday at 7 p.m. Rosary Friday at 8 a.m. A funeral service will be held Friday, October 15 at 10 a.m. for Wilhelmina "Minnie" C. Berkbuegler of Perryville at the St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Mark Bozada will officiate. Memorials may be made to the St. Maurus Catholic Church new building fund. |
