Edgar J. Clements

A funeral will be held Wednesday, October 20th for 84-year-old Edgar J. Clements of Perryville who died Saturday at the Grandview Healthcare Center in Washington.

He was born April 1st, 1915 in Lixville, the son of Louis and Elizabeth (Wirth) Clements who both preceded in death.

He married Norma E. Grossheider on February 23rd, 1941. She survives in Washington.

Two sons survive him: Wayne Clements of Washington and Dave Clements of Tucson, Arizona.

Two sisters survive: Catherine Besand of Perryville and Mae Propst of Sedgewickville.

Three brothers survive: Wilbert Clements and Oscar Clements, both of Perryville and Kelly Clements of Biehle.

Four grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.

Two brothers and three sisters also preceded him.

He was employed at Magnolia Shoe Factory and was a carpenter working in home construction.

He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lutheran Laymen's League, Lutheran Men's Club and Bible Class.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 a.m. at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville.

A funeral for 84-year-old Edgar J. Clements of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Craig Otto will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Lutheran School Improvement Fund or the new Parish Activities Center.
