Alberta M. Amberger A funeral will be held Friday, October 22nd, 1999 for 74-year-old Alberta M. Amberger of Perryville who died Tuesday at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born October 19th, 1925 in Claryville, the daughter of Herman and Mabel (Brown) Pick, who both preceded in death. She married John M. Amberger on May 19, 1946. He survives in Perryville. One son, James, and his wife, Tina Amberger of Perryville, also survive her. Three daughters also survive her: Sharon, Mrs. Barry Nash of Spokane, Washington; Kaye Cook of Cape Girardeau and Yvonne, Mrs. Richard Kirn of Perryville. Eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive. A brother, a sister and a granddaughter also preceded her in death. She was a seamstress in the laundry department at the Perry County Nursing Home. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, president of Ladies Aid, Chancel Guide and Lutheran Women's Missionary League. Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Thursday and 6:30-8:30 a.m. Friday at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A funeral for 74-year-old Alberta M. Amberger of Perryville will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Craig Otto will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Women's Missionary League or to the Sunday radio broadcast. |
