Bertha M. Buerck

A funeral will be held Saturday, October 30th, for 91-year-old Bertha M. Buerck of Perryville who died Tuesday at the Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born September 18th, 1908, the daughter of Joe and Anna (Meyer) Baer, who both preceded in death.

She married Rudolph J. Buerck on October 23rd, 1930. He preceded in death.

She is survived by seven sons and three daughters: Glennon Buerck, Rudy Buerck and Stella Prevallet, all of Perryville; Eugene Buerck and Jerome Buerck, both of Festus; Robert Buerck and Tom Buerck, both of Uniontown; Bernetta Buchheit of Washington, Indiana and Berdella Schnurbusch of St. Louis.

She is also survived by 40 grandchildren and 52 great grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and daycare provider for over 30 years.

She was a member of the Christ, the Savior Catholic Church and Ladies Sodality, both in Brewer.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Friday and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. Parish wake will be held Friday evening at the funeral home.

A funeral for 91-year-old Bertha M. Buerck of Perryville will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Christ, the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer. Burial will be in the St. Maurus Catholic Cemetery in Biehle. The Rev. Felipe Martinez will officiate.
