Bessie Irene Kelley Funeral service will be held Friday, Sept. 10, 1999 for 86-year-old Bessie Irene Kelley of Perryville who died Monday at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo. She was born on May 29, 1913 in Perryville, the daughter of the late Daniel and Birdie (Pullum) Rhyne. She was married to William "Bill" Kelley. He preceded her in death. One brother and two sisters survive: Melvin Rhyne of Perryville; Elizabeth Baylor of Gordonville, Mo.; and Anna Rowe of House Spring. Six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren also survive. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and taught Sunday School from 1928 to 1980. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-9 p.m. and Friday from 6:30-8:30 a.m. at Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. Funeral service for Bessie Irene Kelley will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church. Rev. Aaron Jeffries officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorial preference is to the American Heart Association or Calvary Baptist Church. |
