Alma A. Baue

A funeral will be held Tuesday, April 4th for 84-year-old Alma A. Baue formerly of Frohna who died Saturday, April 1st at the Charleviox Nursing Home in St. Charles.

She was born September 1st, 1915 in Perryville, the daughter of Emanuel and Mary (Hansen) Hoffstetter who both preceded in death.

She married Frederic W. Baue on May 16th, 1944. He survives in St. Charles.

She is also survived by two sons: the Reverend Frederic W. Baue of Glendale and Kurt Baue of St. Charles and by one daughter: Jane C. Maddox of Valparaiso, Indiana.

Seven grandchildren also survive her.

Five brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.

She was a registered nurse and a member of the Lutheran Medical Center School of Nursing Alumni Club, past member of the board of directors of the St. Charles County Historical Society, owner of Blanchette House Antiques in St. Charles and was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church.

Visitation will be this (Monday, April 3rd) evening from 5-7 p.m. at the Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m.

Visitation will also be at the Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4th.

A funeral for 84-year-old Alma A. Baue, formerly of Frohna, will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4th at the Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery in Perryville. The Rev. Wayne Palmer will officiate.

Memorials are preferred to the Immanuel Lutheran Scholarship Fund.
