Funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000 for 91-year-old Clarice L. Devenyns, formerly of Perryville, who died Monday, Dec. 18 at Cheyenne, Wy.

She was born on Aug. 27, 1909 in Belgique, MO, the daughter of the late Peter and Pauline (Modde) Steinbecker.

She was married to Ed Devenyns. He preceded her in death.

Four daughters survive, Norma Trautman of Ste. Genevieve; Myrna Livingston of Loveland, Co.; Lee Ann Wilson of Hutchinson, Kas.; and Jayne Thompson of Cheyenne, Wy.

One brother, Herbert Steinbecker, survives in Perryville.

Twenty-three grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Ed Steinbecker; three sisters, Elsie Huber, Anna Devenyns and Zelma Huber.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9-11 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Funeral Mass for Clarice L. Devenyns will be held Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Kevin Fausz CM will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorial preference is to St. Mary’s School in Cheyenne, Wy.

Young and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
