Rose A. Brown Funeral service will be held Friday, Feb. 10 for 84-year-old Rose A. Brown of Perryville who died today (Wednesday) at Perry Oaks Healthcare Center. She was born on Jan. 28, 1916 in Kaskaskia Island, Ill., the daughter of the late James J. and Mamie Grace (Hicks) Grabe. She was married to Russell Brown. He preceded her in death. Children surviving are Russell Scott Brown, Margaret, Mrs. Robert Adams, Millie, Mrs. Doug Bollinger, Sherry, Mrs. Dale Clifton, all of Perryville; Louise, Mrs. Harold Brown of St. Mary; and Maxine, Mrs. Joseph Messmer, of St. Louis. Twenty-seven children, 37 great-grandchildren and four great, great-grandchildren also survive. One sister, Evelyn Feeney, survives in St. Louis. She was preceded in death by one son, Earl Leroy Brown, and one sister, Ruth Louvall. Visitation will Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000 from 5:30-8:00 p.m.. at Young and Sons chapel. Visitation also be on Friday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.. Funeral service for Rose A. Brown will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Young and Sons Chapel. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery.
