Betty Jean Braddy

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000 for 59-year-old Betty Jean Braddy of Perryville who died Feb. 12, 2000 at Southesat Hospital in Cape.

She was born on June 20, 1940 in Rockingham, S.C., the daughter of the late Glenn Stokes, and Ruth (Wiggens) Stokes, who survives in Perryville.

She was married to William C. Braddy, Sr., who survives in Perryville.

The following children survive: Tina Arnett of Perryville; Teresa Smith of Kennett; William Brady, Robert Brady and Charles P. James Jr, all of Perryville; and Eddie James of Florida.

Four sisters survive: Christine Shively of Columbus, S.C.; Frances Dixon of Franklin, VA; Aline Rooker of Ronoake Rapids, N.C.; and Annie Ruth Hicks of Moorison, OK.

One brother, Eugene Stokes, survives in Virginia.Twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000 from 4-8 p.m. and on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000 from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Miller Family Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, at the Miller Family Funeral Home. Rev. Irvin Brooks will officiate. Burial will be in the Home Cemetery in Perryville.

Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association or Diabetes Association.
