Funeral service will be held Friday, Feb. 18, 2000 for 70-year-old Doris M. (Hansen) Balsmann of Perryville who died Feb. 16, 2000 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on Aug. 30, 1929 in Randolph co., Ill., the daughter of the late Pius G. and Anna (Belshea) Mattingly.

She was married to Willard H. Hansen. He preceded her in death.

She was married to Walter L. Balsmann. He survives in Perryville.

One stepson, one stepdaughter and one daughter-in-law survive: Patrick Balsmann of Effingham, Ill.; Susan Jasper of Fenton, and JoAnn Hansen of St. Mary.

Six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.

One son, Rick Hansen, preceded him in death.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and American Legion Auxiliary Post 133.

Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000 from 4-9 p.m. and on Friday from 6:30-9:30 a.m. at Young and Sons Funeral Home. Parish wake Thursday at 7 p.m., American Legion will meet at 7:15. The rosary will be Friday at 8:30 a.mm.

Funeral Mass for Doris M. (Hansen) Balsmann will be held Friday, Feb. 18, 2000 at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Kevin Fausz CM will officiate. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Memorial preference is to St. Vincent de Paul.
