Leoda R. Buchheit Funeral service will be held Monday, Jan. 17 for 86-year-old Leoda R. Buchheit of Apple Creek who died Jan. 14 at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born on Feb. 24, 1913 in Perry County, the daughter of the late Amsirah and Louella (Eddleman) Hoffman. She was married to Walter H. Buchheit. He preceded her in death. Two sons survive: Earl Buchheit and Gary Buchheit, both of Perryville. One sister, Anita Ryan, survives in Cincinnati, Ohio. Two grandchildren (Angela Smith and Jenny Buchheit) and one great-grandchild (Kyle Smith) also survive. Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-9 p.m. and Monday from 6:30-9:20 a.m. at Young and Sons Funeral Home. Catholic wake service Sunday at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass for Leoda R. Buchheit will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek. Rev. Mark Bosada will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorial preference is to Masses, St. Josephs Building Fund or American Parkinsons Association. |
