Catherine B. Buerck

Funeral service will be held Friday, Jan. 21, 2000 for 71-year-old Catherine B. Buerck who died Jan. 19, 2000 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on July 17, 1928 in Belgique, the daughter of the late Louis W. and Louisa (Ernst) Schloss.

The following children survive: Michael Buerck of Perryville; Curt Buerck of Perryville; Craig Buerck of Altenburg; Keith Buerck of St. Peters; Mark Buerck of Cape Girardeau; Debbie, Mrs. Rodney Garris of Perryville; Kathy, Mrs. Bill Kutz of Perryville; Denise, Mrs. Danny Schaaf of Perryville; and Deena, Mrs. John Allen of Jackson.

Three sisters survive: Rose Irma Richardet, Marveline Schumer and Norma Lee Vernon, all of Perryville.

24 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren also survive.

Five brothers preceded her in death.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish, the Ladies Sodality, and VFW Auxiliary.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5-9 p.m. and Friday from 6:30-9:50 a.m. at the Miller Family Funeral Home.

Parish wake with the Ladies Sodality at 7 p.m. Thursday; The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Friday.

Funeral Mass for Catherine B. Buerck will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Rev. Kevin P. Fausz, C.M. will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.
