A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 3, 3000 for 47-year-old James C. Gibson of Jackson, Mo., who died Wednesday, June 1, 2000 at Jackson.

He was born on March 15, 1953 in Fairmont, West Virginia, the son of Carl Lee Gibson who survives in Marana, Arizona and Florence Irene (Linger) Gibson who preceded him in death. His step-mother, Edith Gibson, preceded him in death.

He was married to Diana L. Wharton. She survives in Jackson.

Two children survive, Jeremiah Gibson and Brandy Gibson, both of the home.

One brother and two sisters survive, Larry Gibson of Wadsworth, Ohio; Linda Albert of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; and Lena Ann McDatt of St. Louis.

He was a member of Baptist Church in Oak Ridge and a U.S. Army Veteran.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 3, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. at Young and Sons Chapel.

Memorial preference is for family use.
