Norma J. Blandford A funeral will be held Tuesday, May 16th, for 70-year-old Norma J. Blandford of Perryville who died Sunday, May 14th at her residence. She was born August 22nd, 1929 in McBride, the daughter of Patrick and Lillian (Anderson) Esselman who both preceded in death. She married Chalmer D. Blandford on May 26th, 1953. He survives in Perryville. Two sons and daughters in law also survive her: Larry and Julia Blandford and Roger and Mary Blandford of Perryville both of Perryville. A daughter and son in law also survive her: Penny and Scott Williams of Cape Girardeau. Three brothers survive: Chalmer Esselman of Owensville; George Esselman of Ft. Worth, Texas; and Donald Esselman of Chester, Illinois. Three grandchildren survive. A sister, four brothers and one grandchild also preceded her in death. She was a retired stitcher from International Shoe and Prince Gardner and was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. this (Monday, May 15th) afternoon and evening and from 6:30-9:40 a.m. Tuesday, May 16th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish wake will be held at 7 p.m. this (Monday, May 15th) evening. A funeral for 70-year-old Norma J. Blandford of Perryville will be held Tuesday, May 16th at 10 a.m. at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Fausz CM will officiate. Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent Church Remodeling, Masses or Special Olympics. |
