Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 27, 2000 for 59-year-old Benjamin J. Berkbuegler of Perryville who died Wednesday, May 24, 2000 at his residence.

He was born on March 29, 1941 in Perry County, the son of the late Ben and Gertrude (Rulo) Berkbuegler.

He was married to Shirley J. Robertson. She survives in Perryville.

Also surviving are one daughter and one son and daughter-in-law: Kathy Berkbuegler, and Mark and Reachel Berkbuegler, all of Perryville.

Brothers and sisters surviving are Richard Berkbuegler of Festus; Ray Berkbuegler of St. Louis; Lucille Mohesky of St. John, Mo.; Betty Moll of Perryville; and Wanda Lukefahr of Highland, Mo.

Four grandchildren survive: Jonathan, Caleb, Alex and Kaley.

One son, Allen Joseph, and one sister, Mary Ellen, preceded him in death.

He was a member of Christ the Savior Church in Brewer and NRA.

Visitation will be Friday, may 26, 2000 from 4-9 p.m. and on Saturday, May 27, 2000 from 6:30-9:15 a.m. at Young and Sons Chapel.

Funeral Mass for Benjamin J. Berkbuegler will be held Saturday, May 27, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the Savior Church in Brewer. Rev. Felipe Martinez CM will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorial preference is to Christ the Savior Catholic Church.
