Funeral service will be held Friday, Dec. 1, 2000 for 90-year-old Joseph M. Bohnert of Perryvile who died Tuesday, Nov. 28 at PerryOaks Manor in Perryville.

He was born on May 6, 1910 in Longtown, the son of the late Joseph William and Theresa Geringer Bohnert.

He was married to Wilhelmina T. Berkbuegler. She survives in Perryville.

Children surviving are Stella Marie Moll of Perryville; Norma Ann Balsman of Perryville; Linda Marie Lopes of Springfield, Mo.; Joseph Earl Bohnert of St. Charles; and David Carl Bohnert of Perryville.

One brother, Wallace Bohnert, survives in Perryville.

Twenty-one grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren also survive.

One sister, one brother, and two grandchildren preceded her in death.

Mr. Bohnert had retired from international Shoe Co. and was a member of St. Vincent de paul parish.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 30 at the Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish wake at 6 p.m. visitation will also be from 6:30-9:50 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 1. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass for Joseph M. Bohnert will be held Friday, Dec. 1, 2000 at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Perryville. Rev. Kevin P. Fausz, C.M. will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
