Ruth C. Baer

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000 for 78-year-old Ruth C. Baer of Perryville who died Sunday, Nov. 26.

She was born on Sept. 2, 1922 in Perry County, the daughter of the late Edwin and Mary (Schumer) Unverferth.

She was married to Gilbert W. (Gib) Baer.

He preceded her in death.

The following children survive: Kenneth Baer of Perryville; Larry Baer of Biehle; Patricia (Pat) Kelso of Little Rock, Ark.; Sally Robinson of Del Ray Beach, Fla.; and Cindy Giesler of Tulsa, OK.

The following brothers and sisters survive: Alma Schumer, Joan Welker, and Mary Ann Becker, all of Perryville; Rosemary Healy of California; Regina Unfeverferth of Cape Girardeau; Joe Unverferth of Perryville; Ed Unverferth of Red Bud, Ill.; Jack Unverferth of Tucson, Ariz.; and Jim Unverferth of Lincoln, Neb.

Sixteen grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Baer had been a homemaker and a member of the Ladies Sodality at St. Maurus Parish in Biehle. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish wake service will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation will also be from 6:30-9:50 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass for Ruth c. Baer will be held Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Rev. Kevin P. Fausz, C.M. will officiate. Burial will be in St. Maurus Church Cemetery in Biehle.
