Emma J. Bergman Funeral service will be held Monday, Dec. 4, 2000 for 94-year-old Emma J. Bergman formerly of Perryville who died Tuesday, Nov. 28 at Merced, California. She was born on Nov. 6, 1906 in Cleveland, Mo., the daughter of the late Otto and Sattie (Masterson) Voigt. She was married to LeRoy M. Bergman. He preceded her in death. Children surviving are Donald L. Bergman of Merced, Cal., and Delores Koenig of Penbroke Pines, Fla. Seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert and Raymond, and one sister, Elizabeth Cook. She was a former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, Peace Lutheran in Friedenburg and Ladies Aid. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5-9 p.m. and on Monday from 6:30-11:00 a.m. at Young and Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service for Emma J. Bergman will be held Monday, Dec. 4, 2000 at 11 a.m. at Young and Sons Chapel. Rev. Mathew Marks will officiate. Burial will be in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Friedenburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Ladies Aid in Perryville. |
