Zeno E. Barber

Funeral service will be held Monday, October 16, 2000 for 79-year-old Zeno E. Barber of Perryville who died Friday, Oct. 13 at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born on April 20, 1921 in Brazeau, Mo., the son of the late Zeno E. and Jeanette (Milster) Barber Sr.

He was married to LaVerne Klaus on July 22, 1943. She survives in Perryville.

Children surviving are Connie Daniels of St. peters,; Charles Barber of Birmingham, Al.; and Jeffrey Barber of Valpariso, Ind.

One sister, Jewel Habeck, survives in Cape Girardeau.

Five grandchildren survive, Chris Daniels, Stephanie, Lindsey, Ashley and Alex Barber.

One sister, Wilma Barber, and two brothers, Eugene and Allen, preceded him in death.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Berean bible Class, American Legion Post 133 and a Veteran of U.S. Coast Guard.

Visitation will be on Sunday, Oct. 15 from 3-8 p.m. and on Monday, Oct. 16 from 6:30-8:30 a.m. at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Zeno E. Barber will be held Monday, October 16, 2000 at 10 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Rev. Craig Otto will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorial preference is to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
