Harry Boxdorfer A funeral will be held Tuesday, September 19th for 83-year-old Harry Boxdorfer of Bridgeton who died Friday, September 15th at the Life Care Center in Bridgeton. He was born March 10th, 1917 in Perry County, the son of Louis Francis and Anna Catherine (Yamnitz) Boxdorfer who both preceded in death. He married Luella Wibbenmeyer on January 21st, 1942. She preceded in death. He is survived by two sons: Dennis Boxdorfer of St. Peters and Kenneth Boxdorfer of Bridgeton and by one daughter: Delores Dunkin of Troy. One brother also survives him: Gilbert Boxdorfer of Kennesaw, Nebraska. Four grandchildren also survive. Four brothers and two sisters also preceded him in death. He was U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Visitation will be this (Monday, September 18th) afternoon and evening from 4-9 p.m. and from 6:30-10 a.m. Tuesday, September 19th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A funeral for 83-year-old Harry Boxdorfer of Bridgeton will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 19th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Perryville. Burial will be in the St. Maurus Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. |
