Clyde J. Buerck

A funeral will be held Monday, April 2nd, 2001 for 75-year-old Clyde J. Buerck of Perryville who died Thursday, March 29th at the John Cochran VA Medical Center in St. Louis.

He was born January 20th, 1926, the son of the late Oscar J. and Gertrude Hogard Buerck.

He is survived by five sons: Curt and Michael of Perryville, Mark of Cape Girardeau, Craig of Altenburg and Keith of St. Peters.

Four daughters also survive: Debbie Garris, Kathy Kutz and Denise Schaaf, all of Perryville and Deena Allen of Jackson.

Three brothers survive: Marion of Perryville, Earl of Cape Girardeau and Leon of Cincinnati, OH. A sister, Loretta Hoffman of Perryville also survives.

He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a special friend, Hester Phillips of Perryville.

He was a retired Residential Painter and a painter at Gilster Mary-Lee.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, A World War Two Veteran, a member of VFW Post 4282 and a past member of American Legion Post 133.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Sunday, April 1st and 6:30-11 a.m. Monday at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. A Parish wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday and a VFW Wake at 7:15 p.m.

A funeral mass for 75-year-old Clyde J. Buerck of Perryville will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 2nd at the St. Vincent de Paul Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin P. Fausz C.M. will officiate.

Military graveside services will be provided by the American Legion.
