Henry M. Broeker A funeral will be held Saturday, September 1st, 2001 for 83-year-old Henry M. Broeker of Perryville who died Thursday, August 30th. He was born February 16th, 1918 in Yount, the son of Herman F. and Zelpha (LaRose) Broeker who both preceded him in death. He married Ida Mae Favier on February 16th, 1939 in Claryville. She survives in Yount. Two sons and daughters in law also survive him: Donald and Shirley Broeker of Arnold and Roger and Willa Broeker of Perryville. Five daughters and sons in law also survive: Judy and Morris Owens of Jackson, Janet and Harold Jannin of Perryville, Connie Bergtholdt of Ste. Genevieve, Sally and Alan Ruessler of Friedheim and Donnia and Ken Mayfield of Sedgewickville. Twenty-three grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren also survive. One son in law, Terry Bergtholdt, a brother Ernest and a sister, Audelle Kluender, also preceded him in death. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Perryville, was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and member of American Legion Post No. 133 in Perryville. Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. this (Friday, August 31st) afternoon and evening and 6:30-9:40 a.m. tomorrow (Saturday, September 1st) at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. An American Legion service will be held at 7 p.m. this (Friday, August 31st) evening and a parish wake will be held at 7:30 p.m. this (Friday, August 31st) evening at the funeral home. A funeral for 83-year-old Henry M. Broeker of Perryville will be held at Saturday 10 a.m. at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. American Legion Post No. 133 of Perryville will conduct a military graveside service. The Rev. Kevin Fausz C.M. will officiate. Memorials may be made to masses.
