Clyde E. "Gravy" Cassoutt

A funeral will be held Tuesday, December 4th, 2001 for 89-year-old Clyde E. "Gravy" Cassoutt of Perryville who died Saturday, December 1st at the Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born July 21, 1912 at Rockwood, Illinois, the son of Lucien and Margaret (Booker) Cassoutt who both preceded him in death.

He married Rose Ann Siefert on March 29th, 1939. She preceded him in death.

Two sons, Darrell L. Cassoutt and Clyde J. Cassoutt, both of St. Mary, survive him.

Three daughters also survive him: Shirley Hotop of St. Mary, Fayetta Brown of Perryville and Paulette Gross of Chester, Illinois.

Eighteen grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren also survive him.

He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, a great grandson and six sisters.

Visitation will be this (Monday) evening from 4-9 p.m. and Tuesday, December 4th from 6:30-10 a.m. at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 89-year-old Clyde E. "Gravy" Cassoutt of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 4th at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Fausz, C.M., will officiate.

Memorials are preferred to donor's choice.
