A funeral will be held Tuesday, December 18th for 97-year-old Carl F. Hoffman, formerly of Altenburg, who died Friday, December 14, 2001.

He was born May 4th, 1904 in Germany, the son of Michael and Margaret (Schafer) Hoffman, who both preceded him in death.

He married Clara Emma on August 6th, 1932. She preceded him in death.

Two daughters, Carlene Lyons of Afton, Michigan and Carol Barnes of St. Louis, survive him.

Six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren also survive.

One brother and two sisters also preceded him in death.

He was a retired baker from A & P Bakery in St. Louis.

He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Altenburg.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Monday, December 17th and 6:30-8:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 18th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for Carl F. Hoffman, formerly of Altenburg, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 18th at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Ronald Paseur will officiate.
