Daniel Wayne Dunker

A funeral will be held Thursday, December 27th, 2001 for 76-year-old Daniel Wayne Dunker of Perryville who died Perryoaks Manor in Perryville.

He was born August 11th, 1925, the son of Hilary R. Dunker and Eunice Mae Biery Dunker who both preceded him in death.

He married Martha Herbert on October 22nd, 1945 in Crystal City. She survives in Perryville.

He is also survived by three daughters: Mary Solvin of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas; Diana Rose Haverstick of Perryville and Sharon Dorchimer of Palmerton, Pennsylvania.

He is also survived by three sons: David of Sedgewickville; Daryl of Manchester, Tennessee and Danny of Ste. Genevieve.

Three brothers survive: Lewis of Sereno, Delos of Perryville and Wendell of Davenport, Iowa.

One sister survives: Donna Dale of Kansas City.

Thirteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive.

He had been employed at PPG Glass Company in Crystal City until his retirement. He was a World War II Navy veteran.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and was an American Legion booster.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 26th and 6:30-10:50 a.m. Thursday, December 27th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish wake will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday and the rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

A funeral mass for 76-year-old Daniel Wayne Dunker of Perryville will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 27th at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin P. Fausz C.M. will officiate.
