Funeral service will be held Friday, Dec. 28, 2001 for 80-year-old Elliott H. Erzfeld of Perryville who died Tuesday, Dec. 25 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born on Jan. 31, 1921 in Uniontown, the son of the late Henry Ignatius and Rose Theresa (Unterreiner) Erzfeld.

He was married to Mary A. Baudendistel on Oct. 15, 1945. She preceded him in death on May 20, 1999.

One brother and five sisters survive, Herman Erzfeld and Mildred Enke, both of Uniontown; Valeria Schloss and Rose Bueltemann, both of Cape Girardeau; Edna Wucher of Bridgton; and Genevieve Leible of Apple Creek.

Nieces and nephews also survive him.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 1263 and the Western Catholic Union.

Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 27 from 5-9 p.m. and on Friday, Dec. 28 from 6:30-9:30 a.m. at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel. Parish wake at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral Mass for Elliott H. Erzfeld will be held Friday, Dec. 28, 2001 at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Kevin Fausz CM will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorial preference is to the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church of Mount Hope Cemetery.
