Lucius W. Huber Funeral service will be held Monday, Feb. 5, 2001 for 80-year-old Lucius W. Huber of Perryville who died Friday, Feb. 2 at Perry County memorial Hospital. He was born on Sept. 18, 1917 in Perry County, the son of the late Fred B. and May F. (Roy) Huber. He was married to Bessie E. Valleroy. She preceded him in death on March 8, 1993. One daughter and son-in-law survive, Marilyn and Ron Merk of St. Louis. One sister, Doris Elder, survives in Perryville. One grandson, Todd Merk, also survives. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 3rd Degree K of C, American Legion Post 133, VFW Post 4282 and World War II Army veteran. Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 4 from 4-8 p.m. and Monday, Feb. 5 from 6:30-9:30 a.m. at Young and Sons Funeral Home. Parish and K of C 3rd Degree wake service will be Sunday at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass for Lucius W. Huber will be held Monday, Feb. 5, 2001 at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Kevin Fausz CM will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorial preference is to cancer research or St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
